I only left the GoPro at home because I started pondering just how much I realistically wanted to carry through a race...

...the problem has never been lack of thirst or that I’m some kind of half-man half-camel creature.

A dozen of us who are no longer just a bunch of strangers dropping in on a weekday evening.

Forty-eight hours back in the country and I figured a six klick run wouldn’t be that tough.
